What's Kentucky without horses?


We stopped for only 2 nights in Lexington. We stayed at the Kentucky Horse Park. It is a very nice park with big shade trees and large spaces. It was especially quiet since we were there mid-week.

We went to a Deli called 'Wallace Station' for lunch. We had seen it on Diners, Dives and Drive-ins and wanted to check it out. It is actually in Midway, a small town between Lexington and Frankfort. It was as good as they said it was. We were glad we stopped by.

After lunch we walked around downtown and drove through the countryside to check out the horse farms. We never tire of them. When we lived here it was a standard thing to do on the weekends.
