On leaving Stratford we drove on through Oxford and then on to find a B&B. We used the road map and the B&B guide. The latter has any place that provides bed and breakfast, but are not always what I think of as B&B's. First we had to find a village that was in both the road guide and the B&B book. Then phone to see if there were vacancies.
This time we got 'The Coach and Horses Inn' off the main road at Chiselhampton. We haven't had any really dreadful food yet, (though fish and chips were down) but this was really good. Which explained why we were asked for the first time if we would want dinner, and when told yes were asked what time we would like it. Not only the dining room was full; so were two annexes. When people left others were coming in. I had yummy field mushrooms with camembert cheese then Rhubarb pancetta with raspberries.
Then on through RAIN to London
Our little GPS man now has a name. Henry!
