|Had a wonderfully relaxed morning before leaving for the airport in Albany, N.Y. Maria, Vito and I stopped at Moe's for some quick and delicious Mexican food before they dropped me off at the departure terminal. I plan to visit them again in August on my way to Rhode Island so it wasn't too teary a goodbye. I am pretty lucky to have these terrifically supportive people in my life.
My flight to Chicago was delayed due to weather. When it was ready to board , the gate agent asked for a volunteer to go on a flight an hour and a half later. When I found out that the later flight was a larger plane I immediately took advantage of a more comfortable plane AND a free ticket.
I arrived at Colin's apartment by 7:45 and grabbed a bite to eat while watching the Blackhawks on TV. Yesterday Colin started his new gig as partner in Sopo, a restaurant in Chicago. Needless to say, his brothers and I are thrilled for him. I only wish Tom were here to share the good news.
