Off this morning to the Saturday market was all ready very busy when I got there at 7:00am lots of vegetables, cooked food, clothes, and about anything you could want had breakfast there then off by local bus to Xunantunich A Maya site a short way from town had to cross the river by a hand cranked ferry, then got a ride the 1 mile to the site by a couple that was on the ferry. I was the first in the park for the morning followed by the couple from Iowa, was nice checking out the ruins went to the top of El Castillo nice view from the top, after exploring the ruins had the one mil walk back to ferry not to bad as it was down hill, lol. Back on the ferry then another local bus (fare 1.50Belizean) stopping near the road going up to Cahal Pech, was a hot walk there as it was about 11:00am got into the site walked around very cool place, and there are a lot of trees making it really cooler, lol. Walked back to town stopping for lunch at the Great Mayan Prince a great honey cooked pork chop, salad rice and a cold beer, back to hotel for a much needed shower and to work on my blog
