I am now in Southern India is very warm (95 f) and very humid, flew from Udaipur by way of Mumbai to Chennia a drive about 1 hour south to Mamallapuram a small town about 12,000 people on the shore of Bay of Bengal is a UNESCO site for the stone craved cave temples. We are staying in a very simple hotel does have ac but there is a shortage of electric so have rolling blackouts every few hours so the room gets very hot. Out to a restaurant for a little lunch an a couple beers, a tour meeting a 6:00 pm now have 7 in group 3 of us from the past trip 4 new one plus new tour leader plus one in training. Went out for dinner had a couple tiger prawns very large ( the size of a small lobster) and a couple beers, back to hotel for a very warm night ac off during the night. Up early for a walk about town an the temples before gets too hot, a bit of lunch a beer and time to work on travel log, tomorrow we head off to Pondicherry for a home stay so will not have Internet next post Madurai
