Hi Everyone,

We arrived in Koh Phangan 2 nights ago and have now checked into a tree house that Petrina has fallen in love with. Great sea views but weather a bit cloudy and some heavy rain but we managed a few beach hours today.

We avoided the infamous full-moon party last night as we are saving ourselves for Xmas and NY.

We hired a scooter yesterday and explored some of the west and north coast, there are some beautiful beaches here we are so lucky.

They sell "gasoline" here in whisky bottles. Elderly ladies come towards you with a Molotov cocktail in one hand a funnel in the other and a lit cigarette in the mouth asking "how many, how many?" hehehe all good fun.

Much love all C & P

18/12/11

Hi all,

We are still in KPN and having a great time despite losing our camera and it being quite overcast and a few heavy downpours. Its still about 25-30 degrees so its better than England hehe.

We have been exploring again on scooters and found ourselves a sloce of paradise for Christmas and NY; a beach hut on an amazing beach. Can't wait to move in on Xmas Eve.

We have bought some xmas decs and hats, Petrina has found a Miss Santa dress and will be the bell of the ball I'm sure.

It's our anniversary today so we are going out for a nice meal and a couple of drinks. Anyway time to get off the internet and go and enjoy ourselves.

Much love C&P

29-12-11:

Seasons Greetings from KPN Much Love and Happy New Year. Sitting next to my fresh coconut and watching the sunshine after a few hours of much needed sunshine. Ate a wonderful unexpected English Christmas dinner at The Mason Arms - decent guy from Soton who runs it, not actually a Mason but his mothers maiden name. Scrumptious turket with all the trimmings even imported cranberry followed by much later on - after a round or two of ping-pong, darts and pool, the best and you can't believe how good a packet of salt and vinegar crisps taste after 3 months travelling. Christopher had and not so much enjoyed at the time and still feels rather hard done, being man handled and twisted to crippledom by a Thai massouse. Today on the way back from breakie we checked out Wipe-Out - you know the game show narrated by Hammond The Hamster, so we will be swinging like monkeys from ropes and bouncing on water trampolines tomorrow. Much love and a clinks to New Year, Kisses P and C XX
