We spent our first full day cruising the coast of Lake Ontario and the St Lawrence River. It was a beautiful drive through harbor towns like Cape Vincent, Clayton and Alexandria Bay. The lunch at Bella's in the town of Clayton was great with a view of the river and some of the 1000 islands. We figured the two couples having lunch next to us may have owned one of the islands or a million dollar house nearby. Can you tell we were ease-dropping?
Other than sightseeing we searched for info on cruises through the 1000 Islands. Decided Alexandria Bay was the best with Uncle Sam Cruises. They go to both Boldt and Singer Castle departing at 10:00 & 2:00 for 3.5 hrs. We decided to wait until tomorrow for the 10:00. Headed back to the MH for a little R&R from all the driving.
