Ron & Elena's 2007-2010 Travels travel blog

(Elena Writing) We had a late breakfast and left the campground mid-morning. We drove into Bigfork to do our laundry at The Washboard. It’s a very nice and well-maintained laundromat.

After lunch we continued north on MT-35 to north on route 206, then a short distance west on MT-40 to Columbia Falls. It’s a quaint little town of about 3700 people. Since Ron needed to do computer work, I walked over to the library and caught up on some reading for couple hours. While I was in the library, I could hearing the wind howling outside. When I left at 5PM, it was still windy and felt a little cool.

We purchased gas at the Town Pump truck stop for $2.889/gallon. We are spending the night in the parking lot of this truck stop. It's been raining all evening. The sound of rain is always welcome.
