Quay St, Galway

So typically Irish

We took it quietly today. We explored the centre of Galway this morning. I think the Irish drowned their sorrows losing the rugby to Australia yesterday as the rubbish in the streets was incredible. They say Australians like to drink but I’d have to say the Irish would have to be on par. They like a Guiness...... or 20 𯘆

We then drove a couple of hours up the road to a township called Sligo where we will stay the night. Had a wander around the pretty little township this afternoon and I can say I can go home a happy girl as we found some traditional Irish music (a seisun) in a lovely little Irish pub. Yay!! ☘️☘️ 𯎻. There’s nothing like it. Captivating, from a man singing ballads to a group of musicians playing fiddle, accordion (just like your one Mum) etc. Happy days 𯘌
