Swan family

Pheasant

Half way again

Tony spent most of yesterday servicing the generator, so was feeling sore and achy by the time he'd finished. I went to the shopping centre and got myself a haircut and we did grocery shopping to get us through the next few days.

We set off after 11am this morning, and by 12.30 had to stop to clean the filters of mud.

This swan family greeted us at the bridge, then went on their merry way.

The pheasant was right on the bank of the canal enjoying himself, he wasn't that impressed with the boat though.

By 2.45 we had to stop again as something was wrapped around the prop!! another 2/3rds of a bucket full of rubbish.

Passed the half way mark between Liverpool and Leeds again, then we moored up in the countryside with sheep bleating in the fields. It hasn't been so busy on the canal today, we only passed 2 boats.
