Phil and Alicia asked if we wanted to join them for a hike today so we arranged to meet them at the Info Centre to figure out what hikes were open in K-Country. On our way there we got a call from John and Ena saying they were on their way to Burstall Pass but unfortunately we were running too far behind them to catch up. The floods in June have affected so many trails that our choices were limited and in the end, we ended up deciding on Burstall Pass anyways. A nice leisurely hike to the flood plain, then some fun jumping the water channels before we headed up to the pass. We stopped for lunch below the pass and then continued to the top where we finally ran into John, Ena, George and Carolyn. We spent the rest of the day hiking as a group. A great reunion and a fun day of hiking with friends!
