KAPOORS ON THE ROAD

We’ve always stayed at Casa Comtesse in the Condessa neighbourhood of Mexico City whenever we’ve visited before, or when we’re passing though the capital on our way from one country to another. In fact, we stayed there again when we first arrived on January 23rd, but when we asked for a reservation for the night of February 18th, they were fully booked. Bummer!

For that reason, we were forced to find a hotel elsewhere, and we managed to find one quite near the airport that provided a free shuttle for our arrival and departure. We didn’t realize that the hotel was situated at one end of a very large shopping mall, but that did give us quite a few choices as to where to eat dinner the night before we left.

I hope you enjoyed the photos I took of the art exhibit at the airport. It’s not often that there’s something on hand to make people smile when they are going through the often-stressful check-in process and airport security.
