Bally's Casino

Gold Strike Casino

Horseshoe Casino

Hollywood Casino

Same stuff, I worked but Candy did take the car back since we would be leaving tomorrow, Saturday.

We decided to drive to Tunica Mississippi to visit the casinos and have supper. Tunica is only 45 minutes from the campground so not a bad drive. In Tunica there is the Horseshoe, Hollywood Casino, Sam’s Town, and Fitzgerald’s casinos. There was a Harrah’s but it closed within the last few months. The casino we were in didn’t have that many people so if that is the normal crowd, in understand why a casino would close. What is amazing is there is nothing else in the Tunica area, casinos and cotton fields.

We felt we could win some big money, go buy a new motorhome and keep driving, well that didn’t happen. Candy put $15.00 in the slot machines, the machine kept it, I put $5.00 in and machine kept my money. Neither of us were every big gamblers so we strolled around the casino and watch other people lose money, did not see any big winners.

We did have supper at the Horseshoe Casino buffet, been there before which at that time I feel I got my moneys’ worth, not this time. For us to eat at buffets is a waste of money, get full to quick, plus it just isn’t enjoyable any longer to eat. That was it so we drove back to the motorhome for the evening, made plans for the trip home. Plan is to arrive in Shipshewana Indiana on Monday to check out some new furniture for the motorhome, would like to replace the couch and easy chair. They are 10 years old and not very comfortable any longer. After shopping we will drive up to Bud and Jo’s on Monday afternoon and leave there on Thursday morning.
