Our next stop was Caye Caulker, a small island close to Belize City. They weren´t allowed to have cars on Caye Caulker, only golf carts and bicycles. We visited our friends Heather and Neno that live on Caye Caulker.

We went on two snorkeling tours out to the barrier reef while we were on Caye Caulker. First we went to Shark and Ray Alley, where we saw about 20 stingrays around our boat. My dad and Jasper went in the water with them. Some of the fish we saw were a Queen Angelfish, Sargent Majors, a Spade Fish, a Hog Fish and a Trumpet Fish.

On our second tour we went looking for Manatees. We looked for a long time and finally we saw one and stayed for a long time to watch him come up for air. Manatees are one of my favorite sea creatures because they are very gentle, they are vegetarians, and they are cute!

When we left Caye Caulker we took an 8 seat plane and I got to be the co-pilot. Here we go to Mexico!
