Today was ‘Barley Saturday’ (the annual spring horse fair) in Llechryd, and we took Mum out in her wheel chair to watch the parade of horses, tractors and old cars through the centre of Cardigan. It was the first time that Mum had been out of the Lodge grounds since last year. The weather was cooperative; not too hot and it turned sunny towards the end of the parade. In the evening we went out for dinner with Andrina at La Calabria Restaurant near Newcastle Emlyn; our last meal together in Wales as she and Rob move to Northamptonshire on Monday.
