|We could of flown back, got a night bus but this time we thought we would treat ourselves to a day bus. The 12 hours flew, gorgeous scenery, a film (a pirate version of King Arthur in english with Spanish subtitles) and pure samba (cheesey music videos).
Back in Quito just in time for sunset we checked back into our hostal, The Magic Bean, which does really unmagical coffee but the rooms are good. We enjoyed Quito a lot more the second time, knowing how to be safe now and we even went out (by taxi) for dinner with 2 friends we had made whilst diving at Puerto Lopez. Thanks for a great night and week by the beach, B and Taz. Sarah did not enjoy the jug of margarita "for the road" the next morning. We just hope you managed to do your cycling OK.
We fly on Monday back to Santiago where we are meeting two of Sarah's brothers to go skiing at Portillo 3 hours north of Santiago.
