Bike path on the beach in front of Dockweiler Campground

You can ride the bike path all the way north to Malibu

We heard about this L. A. County park on the beach from Linda's family. It was ten minutes from where we were spending the day, so of course we had to go check it out. Dockweiler State Park is located near Playa Del Rey, just south of Marina Del Rey. There are 118 sites right on the ocean. It has a scenic panarama from Catatlina Island to Malibu. It is a year round park with full hook ups. Amenities include, hot showers, dump station and a laundromat. The 22 mile Marvin Braude Bicycle Trail runs right in front of the park. It can take you to Santa Monica Beach, Marina del Rey, Venice Beach and Redondo Beach Pier. Summer Prices: Front row $45, Middle Row $43 and Back Row $41. Winter rates: $38, $36 & $34 respectively. We look forward to staying here in the future!
