Next we head to Queenstown - the self-proclaimed adventure capital of the world with endless variations on bungy jumping, jet boating et al. It's also a real boom town - very busy, very trendy and building work going on everywhere.

There is a cable car to the top of the mountain overlooking the town with amazing views across the town and Lake Wakatipu. While Laura takes the conventional descent in the cable car, Neil opts for a slightly more adventurous tandem paraglide which is stunning and all too brief - too much weight and not enough wind according to the pilot.
