We spent last night in the Scarisbrick marina as Tony wanted some power to top up the batteries etc. and we needed fuel.
Just like any other marina there are an awful lot of boats just sitting there doing nothing. Not many of them ever leave the marina apparently.
We had to have the roof down to get under the bridge into and out of the marina and it remained down for the entire journey as the bridges are mostly quite low.
Just about a mile or so from the marina is the tribute to the navvies who built the canal - Halsall is where it began
On our way again and we spot this on someone's roof.
We found a nice quiet spot to moor up for the night and put the wheelhouse back together again.
We are booked to go into Liverpool on 4th April, so with only about 14 miles left to travel we are just pottering along.
Have a Happy Easter everyone, hope the weather is kind to you all. (They've forecast snow and horrible weather here for the weekend, so we'll see what occurs)
