Seney NWR

We drive to Manistique for breakfast. We decide to stay on the Upper Peninsula for a couple of days.

We head east and then north to Seney National Wildlife Refuge. We visited here in 2010. They have a Fishing Loop.

At the refuge, we learn of a forest fire they had this year. The fishing loop is closed to us. We drive the Marsh Loop instead. There is one pond where fishing is allowed. The access is not that great.

We turn our visit into a wildlife-viewing afternoon. We like the refuge even if John cannot fish. We see swans and other assorted wildlife. An afternoon in a Wildlife Refuge is always a good thing.

We check into the RV Park in Newberry. They are having trouble with their WIFI. We change our minds about staying two nights. That is the great part about our style of travel. We can change our minds. Tomorrow, we move on.
