Edinburgh Castle

Edinburgh Streets

More than enough seats

Another wedding

Edinburgh city

We find ourselves a park and train. Only a ten minute trip into Edinburgh. Unfortunately it is raining and even David has to put on a rain jacket. We wander the shops looking for somewhere that sells sheet music. We are finally able to get both the sheet music and a cd with Robby Burns songs on it including the one we want.

We lunch with Ange who was on our South America tour – she comes from NZ but works as an agricultural scientist in Edinburgh. Great to catch up with her. David and I have a traditional Scottish fish soup called cullen skink. Very tasty.

Afterwards we take a couple of bus tours around the city – we have bought a ticket that allows to hop on and off a number of different routes and also some entrance fees that we will use tomorrow. Do like the look of Edinburgh.
