Early morning geysers

At 4850 metres elevation

And very cold

So we drove further south to some thermal springs

To warm our feet up and then have breakfast

We drove past this Daliesque desert scenary

To get to Laguna Blanca

Where we would be picking up our bus transfer to San Pedro...

Next to it is Laguna Verde (green from arsenic & hence no...

Time to say goodbye to Rachel, Steve and Bolivia

Team MCB with Hugo, Flora and the Landcruiser

We had to get up early to see some geysers at about 6 a.m. as the sun starts to warm them up. On the way we passed the highest point of our journey yet, 4850 metres above sea level. Then we headed to some thermal springs to warm up our feet and have breakfast. A couple of hours later further south were Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde where we would be leaving the tour and picking up our bus transfer to Chile.

It was a sad fairwell to Steve and Rachel. We had been travelling with them for over five weeks, had lots of laughs and a brilliant time. Thanks alot for sharing your journey with our journey. See you in London next year. Happy trails !
