Guajome Regional Park and Campground is a San Diego County facility and there are quite a number of them located around the county. Both parks that we've been in are well maintained and quite pleasant places to camp. We happened to get one of very few full hookup campsites at Sweetwater campground, but here all of them are electric and water only. They have a conveniently located dump station, and reasonably clean restrooms and showers. There are lots of bike and walking trails nearby as well as a nice little lake. The park has 557 acres and is located about 7 miles from the Pacific Ocean. I think that we are going to enjoy our stay here. We've managed to extend our stay to the 26th of June. We'll have to move twice to different campsites to make that happen, but that's not a problem since we'll have to move to dump our tanks periodically anyway. There's a lot to do and see in this area and Nancy and I are putting together a list of the things that we want to do while here. We did that in San Diego and managed to do everything on our list.
