John and Janet 2012 Oregon travel blog

It is a travel day. We move 2 ½ hours northeast. The first hour is on a wonderful country road. The rest is on the Interstate. The Interstate follows the Yellowstone River. We see the river a couple of times.

We settle in at the RV Park early. We did not call ahead. How busy can Miles City be? The answer is that they are very busy! We have a site. Whew!

I get the laundry done. We can hunt for agates on the Yellowstone River but it is too hot! We rest up. Tomorrow, we move further east.

We are headed to Minnesota. Of course, we need to get across North Dakota. We checked many routes. We settled on this one. Sometimes you have to get from A to B.
