Misty hills

On the way to Killarney

On the way to Killarney

Where we have afternoon tea

Fine with light rain intermittent. We travel to Cork, although not visiting the city.

The villages are small with narrow windy roads – rabbit warrens.

Some farm land to begin with but then non-arable stony hills – the country unkempt enough to be interesting.

We lunch in Pierre at Rosscarbery not far from the pleasant village of Clonakilty. We have afternoon tea at Killabunane – a café/shop/tourist farm. I buy a woollen hat.

We end up at Kilarney staying at Darby O’gills Country House.
