Got up at 5:30 am and hiked to closest village down the beach to arrange Tro Tro out...a full(14) Tro Tro(mini bus) left Green Turtle where we picked up Bon,Mari, & Jake at 6:30. At Agona junction we made connections immed. via Tro Tro to Takoradi where we missed the STM bus by just a bit at 8 so Bon & Jake located another minivan for same price and only 8 of us in it which left immed and we arrived in Accra around noon.

Got a taxi to take us to the Nigerian embassy where we tried to get a transit visa but the only ones avail. cost $100 US...

The taxi driver was very helpful and waited for us so we asked him if he knew of an inexpensive place to stay...took us to one which was $25 ea but they suggested the Pink Hostel just down the road where we checked in for just over $18 US ea and incl breakfast. The driver then took us to the Ethiopian Airlines office where we got a lot of useful info incl that we can save $250 US by flying out of Accra instead of Camaroon!!! Thus saving us visa costs for both countries ($200 + US) and possibly enabling us to leave earlier to fly into Ethiopia so we can travel north before Todd arrives on Feb 5.
