2017 Trip East to see the Colors travel blog

The view from out trailer in Sayre, OK City Park

Our first day saw us hit the road at 10:45 AM. THAT WAS A LITTLE LATE. Our goal was Sayre, OK (about 410 miles) where we planned to stay in a city/county park that has RV parking with water and electricity. We made it to Sayre about 6:45 PM but we missed the exit and I proceeded to get confused in the navigation so we did not park until about 7:15 PM. Rio the cat was not happy about all that time in the truck. I made a quick dinner of leftovers (I had to take everything out of the fridge at home – or OH MY) and we listened to the Dodgers game for a bit and them we dropped in the bed for the night.

Sayre is a great stop for us and only $12 for a space. We stopped in 2014 but we have not checked out the area - just a one night stand.
