Huey, Luey, Duey & Gin

We arrived on schedule in Monroe, MI and stayed at the ARE YOU READY FOR THIS - "Camp Lord Willing RV Park". The write up of the camp ground says they have swimming available, when I asked the, front desk about swimming she said - Swimming in the Pond, "you can see the float lines from here". Needless to say, no swimming tried.

1st night out always challenging, but everything went well as soon as Ed listened to Cindy and Virginia tell him what, how, & when to do it. NO it really isn't that bad, because I took a bike ride for about an hour.

We were next to a pond and we had three wild white ducks come begging (successfully) for food. Heuey, Duey & Luie were happy to accept food from strangers. What was really funny was when Virginia (Gin) approached them they kind of scattered and as soon as she turned her back on them, they lined up right behind her and followed her all over the place. John C enjoyed the show as well.

During our travels up to Monroe, it wasn't until we were almost out of Ohio when Cindy realized all of the rest stops on the Ohio Turnpike had a penny machine or we may not have made it to Monroe before dark.

We had a campfire, roasted marshmallows, and enjoyed the peace and quiet. During the night we were looking for Noah's Ark as the 40 days - 40 nights rains did fall. "Lord Willing campground" came into play when we said "Lord willing the creeks don't rise. No flooding, no leaks everything good.
