Well we've finally made it, after a bit of a tearful goodbye at Heathrow!
Firstly we want to say thank you to all family and friends for all the cards, gifts and warm wishes - it has meant a lot to us.
Spent yesterday evening wandering round Little India - which was quite an experience, we seemed to be the only western women there!
Then we did the absolute tourist must and visited the Raffles Hotel for a Singapore Sling - Yum!
Singapore is a very pleasant city and people are very friendly and helpful, so it couldn't have been a better start for us!
